1.Getting help
Write to songbooth@havlek.ca and a person will read it. There is no ticket system and no bot in front of it. If you are writing about something that went wrong, the Settings screen shows a Device ID and a version number — including those makes almost every problem quicker to find, because they are what your songs are stored under.
2.Talking to other people making songs
There is a Discord: https://discord.gg/QrTSHXRa9c — for sharing what you have made, asking how somebody got a particular sound, and hearing about what is being worked on.
It is a community rather than a support desk. Anything about your account, a payment, or a song that went wrong is better sent to the address above, where it reaches a person who can look at your records.
3.A song failed, or is stuck
Songs are made by an outside music model and occasionally one does not come back. A failed song is refunded automatically — it does not count against your allowance — so the first thing to try is simply making it again.
If a song plays for a few seconds and stops, the download was interrupted rather than the song being broken. Opening it again re-fetches it.
4.Subscriptions
Song Booth Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store, and it renews until it is cancelled. Cancelling is done in the App Store rather than in this app: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves the current period running.
If you have paid and the app does not show it, tap Restore purchases in Settings. That also brings a library back on a new phone.
5.Your songs, and getting rid of them
Songs are kept so they can be replayed and so they survive a reinstall. Deleting a song deletes the audio, not just the entry.
Settings has Delete account, which erases everything: songs, albums, the audio itself, shared links, and the subscription history. It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel a subscription — do that in the App Store first, or you will keep being charged for an account that is gone.
6.Reporting a song
Songs shared publicly can be reported from the player, with the flag beside the artwork. Reports are read by a person, and anything that breaks the terms is removed.
